I’ve been seeing an increase in multiple offers lately in the central Ohio area.
In some cases houses have been on the market for such a short time, they don’t even have a chance for bidding wars. In one extreme case this week, I sent a house in Hilliard to a client that came on the market that day. By the time my client responded that night, the house was already in contract.
What this means to you
Buyers: Don’t wait to make an offer.
If you like a house, put in the offer. Just make sure you have the right contingencies in the offer in case you’re not able to purchase the home.
Sellers: Now is the time to sell.
Clean-up and de-clutter and get your house on the market. Spring is the best time of the year to list your house.
